The success of our business requires significant numbers of our employees to visit building sites on a daily basis. It's essential that they are able to do this safely and without risk to their health or wellbeing. We also have staff in other roles that attract a degree of risk.

To manage these risks and to strive for progressive improvement, in the last year we have:

  • Delivered health and safety training to 630 employees.
  • Further enhanced the health and safety monitoring carried out by our Inspection Management team.
  • Carried out 21 days of 'independent' verification monitoring of our building inspectors, visiting 112 sites, looking specifically at building inspectors' health and safety behaviours.

Wellbeing

We are committed to a comprehensive wellbeing strategy to help support, engage and continue to develop our people. We proactively monitor staff absence to enable us to manage the health risks in the organisation effectively.

All staff can benefit from salary sacrifice gym membership, free flu jabs, eye care vouchers and our employee assistance program.
