Change your registered status
To change your status from registered developer to registered builder, you will need to send the following form and fee to:
Commercial Department, NHBC, Buildmark House, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham, HP6 5AB

Note: We will ask you to follow an assessment procedure. The total fee will be £360+VAT.
Change your trading status
When you change your trading status to or from a sole trader, limited company or partnership you need to notify us in advance and send one of the forms below and fee to:

Application to change to a limited company
Application to change to or from a sole trader or partnership
Note: To change to a limited company the fee will be £156+VAT and to change to or from a sole trader or partnership the fee will be £78+VAT.
Change your banking details
If you pay your annual renewal fee by Direct Debit, complete a new Direct Debit instruction form for your new bank account and send to us at
Commercial Department, NHBC, Buildmark House, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham. HP6 5AB.
Alternatively, ask your bank to write to us confirming the new details (branch address, sort code, account number, names on the account).
