Whether you are a Builder or a Developer we welcome your application for registration with NHBC.

How to apply

To apply for NHBC registration and to tell us about the site you need warranty cover for, complete and send back the following:

• NHBC registration application form
• Registration application fee – see how much it costs
• Site Notification and Initial Notice form (SNIN)

Please submit your SNIN form as far in advance of starting work on site as possible but at the latest:

Site type	Weeks before start date
Standard, non-hazardous sites	4 weeks
Hazardous or non-traditional sites	8 weeks

How can I pay?

Your registration application fee should be sent by cheque made payable to NHBC. We will then invoice you for you annual renewal fee in March each year.

Annual renewal fee - Pay by Direct Debit and save 10% each year

Where do I send my cheque and application documents to?

Please send your completed application form, application fee, SNIN form to:

What happens next?

We will acknowledge receipt and send you the NHBC Technical Standards both in print and on a CDROM and will notify you who your Building Inspector is, if applicable. Read more about the application process.
