How to apply
To apply for NHBC registration and to tell us about the site you need warranty cover for, complete and send back the following:
- NHBC registration application form
- Registration application fee – see how much it costs
- Site Notification and Initial Notice form (SNIN)

Please submit your SNIN form as far in advance of starting work on site as possible but at the latest:

| Standard, non-hazardous sites | 4 weeks |
| Hazardous or non-traditional sites | 8 weeks |
How can I pay?
Your registration application fee should be sent by cheque made payable to NHBC. We will then invoice you for you annual renewal fee in March each year.
Annual renewal fee - Pay by Direct Debit and save 10% each year
Where do I send my cheque and application documents to?
Please send your completed application form, application fee, SNIN form to:

What happens next?
We will acknowledge receipt and send you the NHBC Technical Standards both in print and on a CDROM and will notify you who your Building Inspector is, if applicable. Read more about the application process.
