Q: My development has a Plans Certificate but the design has now changed. What do I need to do?
A: If the changes are significant, for example revising the number of dwellings, or changing the number of bedrooms, materials for the main elements of structure, these may require the revisions to be re-checked for compliance with the Building Regulations. The first step would be to submit details of the revisions to your surveyor, who will be able to advise on the next steps.
Should a revised Initial Notice be required, we will organise this for you. Should the revisions include a change in the number of dwellings or are significant enough to require a complete re-check of the scheme, the fees for the scheme may be subject to alteration.
