Part G due to come into effect 06 April 2010
The revisions to Part G are due to take effect on 06 April 2010. Builders who obtain a Plans Certificate for their development prior to this date can build in accordance with the previous requirements to Part G and the 1992 Approved Document.
We can help by providing Plans Certificates for your schemes if you send your design details and drawings to us by the 05 March 2010. Remember, if you do this, you will need to start work on the site prior to 06 April 2011 and any work added to the scope of the Initial Notice on or after 06 April 2010, will be subject to the amended regulations.
