SAP Energy Rating

What is SAP ?
The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is the UK government's methodology for the calculation of energy ratings for dwellings.

The SAP is used to determine a home's Dwelling Emission Rate (DER) and Target Emission Rate (TER) and compliance with the applicable legislation. SAP is used to establish a dwelling's energy efficiency as displayed on an Energy Performance Certificate, which is mandatory on all property sales in accordance with the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.

The most recent version is SAP 2005. An update is due in 2010, to coincide with expected changes to Part L1a in England and Wales, Part F1 in Northern Ireland and Section 6 (Domestic) in Scotland.

This saves you time, helps release any Building Control conditions that may apply, and provides one of the required components for compliant Home Information Packs. We deliver all reports (including SAP reports, PEAs and EPCs) by e-mail saving you time and money.

All calculations are done off-plan, so no site visits are necessary although assessors will maintain a regular dialogue with your team to ensure compliance is achieved.
