Site Inspections

Why do you need health and safety site inspections?

Legal compliance - to help fulfil your obligations under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Independent assessment - of your health and safety practises by a nationally recognised organisation.

Measurement - of the on-site effectiveness of your health and safety policies and practices.

Benchmarking - between divisions and subsidiaries, and with comparable companies.

HSE involvement - helping reduce the implications of HSE involvement as enforcement action may lead to prosecution, and in any case, substantial costs.

Peace of mind - to help satisfy yourself that your sites are not a danger to your workforce or to the public.

  • Photographic evidence and examples embedded in the inspection reports, where appropriate
  • Wherever possible, initial inspection reports emailed directly from site, for immediate notification of serious issues
  • Management reports to identify areas of risk, and to benchmark against the industry.

Health and Safety Toolbox talks

These short, informal , site-based talks are designed to improve awareness and understanding of health and safety issues amongst site operatives.  Practical guidance is given on how to improve safety standards.  Toolbox talks are available on a wide range of both technical, and health and safety topics.

Discounts are available if toolbox talks are undertaken at the same time as site inspection

Management reports

Our management reports provide a concise, authoritative interpretation of your health and safety performance, based on a consolidation of data gathered during regular site inspections.

The main body of the report comprises an average-weighted quantitative assessment of performance over an agreed period of time.

This summary of information enables you to identify your main areas of risk as well as benchmark your health and safety performance against the sector of the industry that we inspect.

The report includes conclusions and recommendations that address the main areas that need to be monitored to help you improve your overall site health and safety performance. Reports can be prepared quarterly, half-yearly and annually or for a specific time period.

Over time, the reports will build a picture of health and safety performance on site, enabling you to monitor progress in managing health and safety.
