NVQs from NHBC

In the construction industry, NVQs are recognised as the benchmark qualification for proving occupational competence and form the basis for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

They are recognised within the UK National Qualification Framework and form part of many professional institutions', such as the Chartered Institute of Buildings, qualification frameworks for membership.

We offer a wide range of NVQs for people working in the house building and construction industries.  They range from Level 2 NVQs for crafts-people up to Level 7 NVQs for senior managers.

NHBC recommend that all learners use our e-portfolio system. This allows the learner to access their portfolio anywhere and add evidence as necessary. Our experience in this area shows that learners using the e-portfolio system progress more quickly than those using paper-based methods.

All our NVQs attract CITB grant aid for in-scope companies.
