Summary
The Consumer Code sets requirements that all NHBC registered home builders must meet. The purpose of the Code is to ensure that Home Buyers are treated fairly, know what service levels to expect, are given reliable information upon which to make their decisions and know how to access speedy low-cost dispute resolution arrangements if they are dissatisfied. NHBC and other Home Warranty Bodies have agreed to require that all of their registered builders adopt and comply with the Code as a condition of their registration.
Suitable for:
Managers (or their agents/advisors) responsible for the content, policy and implementation of customer service, reservation agreements and procedures, home building contracts and procedures, after-sales, after-sales policies (including dispute resolution) and sales.
