Flat roofs

As innovative ways of waterproofing flat roofs are increasingly used in the construction of new homes, the complexities of getting it right grows. NHBC has noticed a sharp increase over the past 12 months in the number of claims we have received for water ingress to homes because of poorly designed and installed flat roofs. Frustratingly, and all too often, the expensive failure can be put down to foreseeable defects. In this session we look at some of the basics of flat roof waterproofing and provide guidance to help you get it right.
