The application process

The NHBC graduate programme is an annual programme with up to 20 graduates taken on every year.

Our application process is thorough and designed to identify those individuals most suited to a career with NHBC. Applicants for our Graduate Programme will go through four stages:

1. Application stage

For an application form email us at graduate@nhbc.co.uk or call us on 01908 747447.  All applications are then reviewed by our recruitment team. They will be looking for intelligent responses to the questions you have answered in your application and an indication of your ability to do the job.

2. Personality profiling

Applicants that satisfy our criteria will then be invited to undertake personality profiling. This will help us to identify those individuals who have the right balance of attributes required to be successful at NHBC and also to ensure that you are put forward for a role that is suitable for you.

3. Assessment centre

Applicants with the right personality, aptitude and ability will be invited to our assessment centre. This will comprise a mixture of verbal reasoning, numerical assessments and group exercises.

4. Interviews

The final assessment stage will be an interview. Within a few weeks of your interview, we will let you know whether you have been successful. Successful candidates will then be invited to an induction day before their start date in September.
