Choosing a moving date
If you are buying a new home, the date of your move is dictated by the contract completion date. It is worth planning well in advance for this date.
Before exchanging contracts, check that the agreed date is suitable for you. Convenient times are usually:
- Friday - giving you a whole weekend to unpack and settle in (but make sure all your services are switched on before the weekend).
- End of the month.
