'Buildmark' is the name of NHBC's 10-year warranty and insurance cover for newly-built or newly-converted residential homes registered with NHBC.

Generally, the insurance cover we provide will depend on the type of policy you have. It is therefore important that you read your own documents for specific information.

Please note that the cover described above generally only applies to homes built on sites registered with NHBC on, or after, 1 October 2005. It does not apply to homes registered before that date.
Homes registered before 1 October 2005 will be subject to the cover applicable at the date the home was registered with NHBC.
