Who can apply for Buildmark and how is it paid for?
NHBC registered builders apply for Buildmark when they register their building plots with NHBC. Your builder pays the premium directly to NHBC and this is based on a scale of charges relating to the sales value of each home.
Your builder includes the Buildmark warranty and insurance cover when selling newly-built or newly-converted residential homes to homebuyers because the cost is included in the purchase price of the new home.
