Home warranties
NHBC home warranties are an integral part of the UK new housing market, and are provided where new and newly-converted homes in the UK are built to NHBC Standards.
Working with registered builders throughout the country, NHBC Inspectors monitor building standards against NHBC Standards (of construction). Homes completed to the required standard are issued with NHBC's new homes warranty and insurance cover called 'Buildmark'. 80% of new homes are covered by NHBC home warranties.
New Homes Warranty
A new homes warranty from NHBC protects newly-built or newly-converted homes where there is a breach of NHBC Standards. Our home warranties are available for residential homes, social housing and self build projects. They offer flexible cover against builder insolvency during the build itself, and against damage and defects in breach of NHBC Standards for upto10 years following legal completion.
