2010 Quality Award winners announced

More than 400 site managers across the UK were given a reason to celebrate by having their dedication to building quality new homes recognised with a Pride in the Job Quality Award from NHBC, the leading standard-setting and consumer protection body for new homes in the UK.

These awards - recognised as the Oscars of the house-building industry - are awarded to site managers who develop the highest quality new homes across the UK. Over the past 30 years, Pride in the Job has become synonymous with quality and a hallmark that those homes are built to the highest standard.

Announcing the Quality Awards, NHBC Chief Executive, Imtiaz Farookhi, said: "For three decades now, NHBC's Pride in the Job Awards has been helping raise the quality and standard of new homes across the UK. These site managers have shown real commitment to quality and have built homes to the highest standard for their customers.  Winning a Quality Award sets these site managers apart and I congratulate them all for winning this prestigious award."

Each Quality Award winning development can now proudly display a Pride in the Job flag so new homebuyers know that it is an award winning site with some of the best homes in the UK today.

Winning a Pride in the Job Award has become more complex each year with changes to regulations and the many challenges and pressures currently facing the industry.
