The UK's only award for site managers
Originally started in 1980, the Pride in the Job competition was established to improve build quality and raise the standard of service to home-buyers. Now, nearly 30 years on, it is one of the most prestigious competitions in the house-building industry and is a recognised seal of approval for new home-buyers everywhere.
Recognising exceptional standards
Pride in the Job is unique, as it is the only national competition to focus on the contribution the site manager makes in producing high quality, new homes. Only site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards in every aspect of their work on site and in the homes they build will be considered for a Pride in the Job Award. Experience shows that success also greatly depends on gaining the full support of everyone involved in the build process, creating a culture on site where only the best is good enough.
