NHBC's Chief Executive, Imtiaz Farookhi said: "With the industry's drive to meet a range of challenges, from the Government's ambitious volume targets, to the 2016 deadline for zero carbon homes, our Pride in the Job competition and its focus on delivering a quality end product for homeowners, has never been more important.
"For more than a quarter of a century Pride in the Job has recognised those site managers, who, through their uncompromising approach to site management, produce new homes which are built and finished to the highest possible standard.
"The site mangers who are selected for awards - right through from the 400 Quality Award winners to the overall Supreme Winners - exemplify the Pride in the Job standard. As well as creating beautifully finished homes that are a pleasure to live in, they are testament to the very high standards that can be achieved."
Pride in the Job rewards site managers who demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism in every aspect of their work on site, from their organisation of the site to the quality controls in place. As one of the most intense and celebrated competitions in the industry, Pride in the Job is famous for establishing its winners as the best in their field.
