  • Large builder category - a site manager for a company with an annual output of 1,001 homes or more per year
pij Bullock Dave portrait.jpg Dave Bullock of Persimmon Homes Wales for his management of new homes site Wyncliffe Gardens in Cardiff.
David has worked in the building industry for 14 years, 10 of which he has spent working as a housing site manager. He says his main strengths are his management skills and also getting the best out of contractors in a difficult market place.

  • Medium builder category - a site manager for a company with an annual output of between 51 and 1,000 homes per year
pij Armson Tony portrait.jpg Tony Armson of William Davis Ltd for his management of new homes site Cawston Fields, Cawston in Rugby.   Tony has worked in the building industry for 36 years. Like him, his father, brother and son are all bricklayers. Tony enjoys the day-to-day site banter and seeing the young apprentices turn into highly skilled builders.

  • Small builder category - a site manager for a company with an annual output of between 3 and 50 homes per year
pij Bell Rod portrait.jpg Rod Bell of Bell & Shinn Developments Ltd for his management of new homes site Maltby Way, Banovallum Gardens in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.
A bricklayer by trade, Rod has been in the industry for 40 years. Building on his previous success, making it to the finals last year, Rod says winning the award is recognition for all the hard work he and his team have put in to achieving high quality new homes.

  • Multistorey builder category - a site manager in any of the above categories working on multi-occupancy homes of 4 or more storeys
PIJ Finden Nick portrait.jpg Nicholas Finden of Ardmore Construction for his management of new homes site Admiralty Quarter, Queen Street in Portsmouth.
Having worked in the building industry for 26 years, Nick is thrilled to have won the award and puts his success down to good leadership and an eye for detail. Nick says it is recognition for him and the team for all their hard work over the years.
