NHBC/APS Management of Pre-Construction Health & Safety

Three days (9.00 - 16.30 approx)

Summary

NHBC is an APS accredited training provider. This 3 day course replaces the old CDMC course and is suitable for those who wish to act as CDM advisors to Clients, Principle Designers and Contractors or Construction Safety Practitioners. Upon completion of the course and successful passing of the required APS membership criteria, candidates may apply for membership of the Association.

Suitable for:

Any construction related professional who needs to understand more about management of pre-construction health & safety, and who possibly wishes to take on more health and safety responsibility.

What you will learn:

  • How to assist the client in delivering their duties under CDM 2015.
  • The role of co-ordinating CDM responsibilities within the project team.
  • A practical viewpoint on discharging the duties of the Principal Designer.
  • An overview of the impact of procurement routes on the project and the co-ordination CDM duties.
  • The legal aspects and implications associated with the CDM team.

*All course fees incur additional charges of £20 (no vat) per delegate for APS delegate pack and £50 + VAT per delegate for APS certification.
