Buildmark Connect policy details
The following is a summary of the Buildmark Connect cover we provide:
During the first 2 years
During this period, the contractor is responsible for putting right defects or damage to the premises or the common parts caused by their failiure to build to our Technical Requirements. They must do this within a reasonable time and at their own expense. If the contractor fails to do so or becomes insolvent, we insure their obligations.
During years 3 to 10
Contaminated land
Buildmark Connect also protects you if you are served, or are likely to be served, a Statutory Notice about contamination of the land that existed at completion.
What's not covered?
Buildmark Connect does not cover general wear and tear, condensation, normal shrinkage, cosmetic damage or damage arising from failure to maintain the property or resulting from alterations to the premises.
