Welcome to the Health and Safety Awards 2012

The NHBC Health and Safety Awards are now in their third year. There has already been a lot of interest from those wishing to enter the 2012 awards, and this year is shaping up to be a bumper year of award-winning entries from inspirational site managers and their teams.

However, the site awards are only one element of the awards. Our Company Recognition Awards allow companies to test their health and safety policies and procedures and to ensure that they are providing both a healthy and safe workplace for their employees.

Extended deadline to enter Special Awards - 30 April 2012

As the Health and Safety Awards ceremony this year is much later than in previous years, on 06 July 2012, we have realised that there is no need to close the Special Awards categories as early as we had planned.  The Special Awards are judged solely by the independent panel, with no extra site inspections involved. As a result the entries are only required in time for the panel to judge them, and we have moved the close date to 30 April 2012.

If your company has initiatives that you think could be potential candidates for one or more of these awards, we would strongly encourage you to consider entering.

The 2012 event will be held at the ICC, Birmingham on Friday 06 July 2012, and will be hosted by the former Olympic medal winner, Roger Black.
