Job role: HR Business Partner (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + 10% performance bonus
Working location: Hybrid – Approximately 2 times a week in our Milton Keynes office but flexibility is required, including occasional travel to other locations as needed.

Job summary:
We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of three experienced BPs, working closely together to handle a varied and impactful workload. This role is perfect for someone who already operates at BP level, with proven success influencing senior leaders, managing change, and supporting complex employee relations. If you’re pragmatic, confident in your decisions, and comfortable working independently, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
- Building strong, trusted relationships with senior and line managers
- Providing expert advice on a wide range of employee relations cases (performance, conduct, grievance, sickness)
- Leading and delivering on business change projects, including redundancy and TUPE processes
- Supporting and coaching managers through complex people matters
- Driving HR initiatives around engagement, wellbeing, D&I, talent and succession planning
What we’re looking for:
- Proven HR Business Partner experience in a commercial, fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law and experience managing complex ER cases
- Hands-on experience leading change programmes involving redundancy
- Confident coaching managers and influencing senior stakeholders
- A self-starter who’s pragmatic, emotionally resilient, team-focused and sound decision maker
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
