Job role: Trainee Construction Quality Analyst

Salary: £27,900 + Up to 6% performance bonus + a Company car

Working location: Glasgow, Scotland

Employment type: Full time, Permanent

Job summary:

Start your career in construction quality with NHBC as a Trainee Construction Quality Analyst. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be visiting sites, reviewing build quality, and working on projects that help raise the standards of new homes across the UK. You’ll learn from industry experts, build your technical skills, and play your part in shaping better homes for the future.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out Construction Quality Reviews (CQRs) on live new build construction sites
  • Recording and analysing data to spot trends and improve standards
  • Helping with bespoke projects that raise build quality and reduce issues
  • Learning about construction methods, materials, and technologies
  • Working safely while developing practical experience across all build stages

What we’re looking for:

  • Some hands-on experience in residential construction
  • Studying towards or holding a construction-related qualification (HNC, HND, NVQ, Degree or equivalent)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and report writing
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel in your region (a company car will be provided)
  • Team players who are motivated to learn and grow their career with NHBC
