  • Develop and maintain robust, well-documented dbt models and transformations
  • Optimise platform performance, storage, and compute while managing costs
  • Configure access controls, roles, and security policies in collaboration with InfoSec
  • Troubleshoot data pipelines and coordinate across analytics, engineering, and DevOps
  • Contribute to platform roadmap planning and technical design decisions
  • Ensure observability, auditability, and resilience of data flows
  • Stay up to date with Snowflake, data build tools, and DataOps tooling

What you’ll bring

  • Experience managing and optimising cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
  • Hands on experience with DataOps/DevOps workflows (CI/CD, version control, automation)
  • Strong SQL, pipeline tuning, and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with data build tools, platform observability, Python, shell scripting, and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
  • Understanding of modern data workflows: modelling, testing, deployment, monitoring
  • Experience in a regulated industry (insurance, finance, housing)
  • Exposure to Airflow, Fivetran, or AWS data services
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused approach

What we offer

Our benefits package includes:

  • 27 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • holiday purchase scheme
  • enhanced pension scheme (up to 10.5%)
  • life assurance
  • subsidised private medical insurance
