What does your current role involve?: My current role involves reviewing engineering proposals from builders who are using NHBC’s warranty products or building control services.
What does a typical day look like for you?: My typical day involves reviewing technical information for a range of sites across my allocated area. I speak with our builder customers and to NHBC’s Building Inspectors and support them with any site queries.
What’s your favourite part of the day?: My favourite part of the day is looking back, realising what has been achieved and seeing that you can make a big difference.
What do you enjoy most about your job?: I enjoy the variety and fast pace of work. I am always looking at different sites and different technical problems.
What career opportunities have you had whilst with NHBC?: I have had lots of training whilst working at NHBC. I feel like I have really been able to progress my career and develop as an engineer.
