Masterclass overview

Our Brickwork Masterclass is an HBF initiative, delivered by NHBC in partnership with the Association of Brickwork Contractors (ABC), and may be eligible for funding from CITB and CITB Northern Ireland.

Delivered by experienced NHBC Building Inspectors, each session focuses on common brickwork issues found on site, providing practical suggestions to help improve quality and standards, raise awareness and promote good practice.

This masterclass is suitable for the trades who carry out brickwork.

What you will learn

The Brickwork Masterclass content has been tailored to the cover the following key areas:

cavity wall construction
cavity insulation
DPCs and cavity trays
cavity barriers
timber frame
sound insulation.
