Roofing Masterclass

Roofing is the build stage that leads to the highest number of defects and warranty claims in new homes. Our Roofing Masterclass provides practical guidance to help you get things right first time, improving site productivity and reducing costly rework.

This HBF initiative is delivered by NHBC in partnership with the National Federation of Roofing Contractors and funded by CITB and CITB Northern Ireland.

Course details

Who should attend?

This Masterclass is suitable for the trades who construct roofs.

What you will learn

We will cover common issues and best practice around:

underlay and battens and roofing components
mortar
fire stopping
condensation control/ventilation
weathering and flashings
fixing of slates and tiles
wet and dry verges and valleys
dry/ventilated ridges.
