An NHBC Immersive Day is a practical, on-site quality improvement session looking at specific build stages, designed to help attendees understand key quality risks, common defect areas and best practice.
Any issues will be discussed during the visit and must be rectified. However, as this is outside of the CQR they will not contribute to CQR scores.
Immersive Day pricing starts from £1,320 + VAT, depending on volume.
A Construction Quality Reviewer will visit up to two sites depending on location, using Construction Quality Review (CQR) data, will undertake a site walk with attendees, focusing on areas of concern. Discussions will centre on common defects, the NHBC 6-point scoring system, current build-stage performance, and practical measures that can be implemented to improve quality, consistency, and overall site performance.
Immersive Days are suitable for site management, contracts managers, construction directors, quality managers/directors, foremen, supervisors, technical teams and trade representatives from across the industry. They are ideal for anyone looking to gain a better understanding of how CQRs are completed, how the scoring logic is applied and what can be done to improve quality. To ensure effective engagement and discussion, attendance from site operatives and trade representatives is limited to a maximum of two attendees per session.
