Job role: Content Creator

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 + 6% performance bonus

Working location: Milton Keynes office (Hybrid role, split between office and WFH)

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent

 

 

Job summary:

This is a newly created position within NHBC’s in-house Marketing & Communications team focused on copywriting, content creation and brand consistency across marketing materials - with a specific focus on alternative residential markets and growth sectors. The role is ideal for a strong writer who understands tone of voice, enjoys storytelling and can manage multiple deadlines while working collaboratively across functions. It blends creative and strategic thinking and offers the chance to contribute to a more consistent and engaging brand narrative.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Writing content for campaigns across web, email, print, video and press.
  • Creating customer stories, blogs and case studies that resonate.
  • Partnering with internal teams to become a subject expert in key growth sectors.
  • Supporting brand PR and internal comms alongside our Senior Copywriter and Features Writer.
  • Proofreading and editing content produced by others to ensure high standards.
  • Shaping creative ideas, pitching copy concepts and responding to briefs.
  • Acting as a brand guardian and tone-of-voice champion.

 

 

What we’re looking for

  • A creative wordsmith with proven B2B and/or B2C content experience.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, benefits-led copy.
  • Confidence in applying tone of voice and working across digital and print.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback to refine work.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for bringing ideas to life as part of a team.
  • Great attention to detail and time management.
