NHBC, the UK’s largest independent new home warranty and insurance provider, is launching a new programme aimed at graduates in Milton Keynes looking to build a career in data and technology.
Commencing in September 2026 at NHBC’s offices in Milton Keynes, with a starting salary of £30,000 and a guaranteed role at NHBC upon completion, this programme is a great opportunity for graduates from a range of disciplines to join a future-focused business harnessing the potential of data and technology.
This latest addition to NHBC’s established graduate training schemes is a two-year programme consisting of three six-month rotations in key areas of the business while contributing to live, business-critical projects. The final six months will see participants working on a core project tied directly to NHBC’s data and technology strategy.
Developing a range of key skills, including the building of data pipelines, developing digital solutions, identifying automation opportunities and improving system architecture, this comprehensive programme is a solid route for graduates looking to train for a future-proof career.
Helping to build digital tools and features for NHBC, successful applicants will work with new technologies across development and information security to directly impact customer and colleague experience. Working to help devise effective strategies to improve workflow and drive innovation, this is a unique opportunity for graduates.
Successful applicants will earn a competitive salary while they learn about agile methods and digital delivery, data literacy, management and governance, analysis, statistics and ethics, practical DevSecOps, AI exploration and more. NHBC’s in-house experts and specialists will provide training, mentorship and support.
Rachael Bland, Chief Data Officer at NHBC commented, “Our new Data and Technology Graduate Programme offers applicants the opportunity to help shape the future of NHBC while learning the skills for an exciting career. As an agile, dynamic business we’re keen to attract fresh talent to help us harness the ever-growing potential of technology and embrace data to help us find new ways of working better.
