As part of its ongoing commitment and wider expansion into the Build to Rent (BTR) market, NHBC, the UK’s leading independent provider of warranty and insurance for new-build homes, has extended its working relationship with Sigma Capital, a leading BTR housing provider. This partnership will span Sigma Capital’s BTR project pipeline for its BTR brand, Simple Life Homes across Britain, significantly accelerating the growth of its UK portfolio.

NHBC’s core purpose, to raise standards in house building with a focus on long-term asset protection, will help Sigma Capital deliver future-proofed high quality homes in new sustainable communities fit for the 21st century.

Jason Berry, Regional Managing Director at Sigma Capital said, “We’re delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with NHBC. As the leading BTR provider focused on single family housing, it’s important that the quality of our homes is second to none. With the help from NHBC we will bolster our aim – to raise the standards across the private rental sector.”

Niki Kyriacou, Sector Lead for BTR, at NHBC commented, “We’re pleased to have partnered with a respected business like Sigma Capital. Its focus on delivering large-scale, high-quality new housing schemes chimes with our own values to champion high-quality new homes. We’re dedicated to helping our partners build it right first time, providing unrivalled expertise, long term asset protection and investor confidence. Construction excellence is achieved with early-stage engagement and with the emergence of single-family housing, demand from BTR landlords wanting to partner with NHBC is growing, thanks to our trusted technical knowledge and breadth of experience.  We’re looking forward to working with Sigma Capital to help them develop fantastic homes for the future.”
