Hull Training Hub
A training hub in the South Yorkshire and Humber area for bricklaying and groundworker apprenticeships

Located in Bransholme, Hull, this training hub is developing the next generation of skilled house builders across South Yorkshire and the Humber. It delivers high-quality bricklaying and groundworking apprenticeships, supporting a consistent pipeline of site-ready talent for local house builders and subcontractors.
The training hub can train over 50 apprentices each year through an intensive delivery model, with multiple cohort intakes throughout the year. Developed in partnership with EN:Able Futures, the Hull Training Hub is part of our national commitment to tackling the construction skills shortage and delivering training aligned with NHBC Standards.
Our training hubs offer
Realistic site experience from day one
Apprentices are immersed in realistic site conditions, working on concrete slabs, building full-scale structures and following real site hours and safety standards. This practical approach builds confidence and contributes to our industry-leading retention rate.
Accelerated, front-loaded training
Our intensive delivery model builds core skills and training upfront, enabling apprentices to return to site ready to contribute. Accelerated learning enables apprentices to complete their qualifications in 14–18 months, nearly twice as fast as traditional routes.
Flexible, focused delivery
With multiple intake dates and smaller cohort sizes, our training hubs offer more one-to-one training and a structured learning environment that adapts to the needs of both apprentices and employers.
Flexi-job apprenticeships
Through our partnership with EN:Able Futures, the Hull Training Hub exclusively offers Flexi-Job apprenticeships.
EN:Able Futures acts as the apprentice’s employer, coordinating placements with local house builders and subcontractors to ensure apprentices gain the site experience they need. This flexible solution is ideal for smaller employers who can't commit to the full 18-month apprenticeship duration.

Location and facilities
Located on the outskirts of Hull, this purpose-built training hub provides apprentices with a realistic, site-focused learning environment. The facility includes:
- easy access from Hull city centre and surrounding areas
- dedicated classrooms, welfare areas and canteen
- a large outdoor concrete slab designed for building substantial training structures.
