The NHBC cover note document has changed.

The main changes are:

  • Name – The name has been changed to ‘Warranty Release Confirmation’ to align with our current policy wording. The document was updated to clarify cover has not yet started, but is in a position to commence from completion of sale.
  • Reference to Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) has been removed as the external body is, as of 2017, UK Finance.
  • The purpose of document remains the same.
