National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job ticket booking terms and conditions 

1. Refunds, cancellation, rescheduling of the event 

Tickets purchased for a Pride in the Job Event cannot be refunded unless: 

(a) the Event is cancelled; or 

(b) the Event is moved to another date and you decide not to retain your booking for the rescheduled Event. 

2. Payment terms and conditions  

All tickets for a Pride in the Job Event must be paid in full 14 days before the Event takes place. If payment is not made at the time of booking, the booking will be considered provisional. If you do not make payment 14 days before the Event, your provisional booking will be released to another delegate and you will not be able to attend. 

3. Substitutions and cancellations 

Tickets are non-refundable; however, delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to participate up to 24 hours prior to the start of the Event, at no extra charge.  

4. Access requirements 

Delegates should advise of any special access requirements at the time of booking.  

5. Registration information 

Once you have completed a ticket booking form you will be emailed a copy of your booking. If this does not arrive within 24 hours, please contact us at prideinthejob@nhbc.co.uk. Further instructions will be sent a week prior to the Event.  

6. Alterations to programme 

NHBC reserves the right to make alterations to the Event programme content and timings. In the unlikely event of the Event being cancelled by NHBC, a full refund will be made. Liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate. 

7. Speakers 

Views expressed by speakers at the Event are their own. NHBC cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the Event or in any material provided to delegates. 

8. Event photography and filming 

For promotional purposes, there will be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the Event. NHBC will be processing all personal data on grounds of Legitimate Interst and in accordance with NHBC’s Privacy Policy which can be found at: www.nhbc.co.uk/legal/privacy-notice.  

You are not permitted to make your own video or audio recordings of the Event or use any still photographs or screenshots of the Event for commercial purposes unless expressly permitted by NHBC. 

9. Data protection 

By booking a place at the Event, attendees agree to be contacted by NHBC and/or third parties with details of other relevant products or services that may be of interest. Delegates who later decide not to receive such communications should please email prideinthejob@nhbc.co.uk
