Construction Site Supervisor

Tom began his apprenticeship with Redrow Homes in July 2021, after deciding on a complete career change during the pandemic.

He says:

“Having the opportunity to retrain, in my 30s, and follow a brand-new career path has been an incredible experience. I’ve learnt huge amounts and seeing the journey of a house from start to completion and building relationships with customers is so rewarding."

“I started this journey with no prior experience in construction, but the tutors are incredibly supportive, and I feel confident the skills I have gained will help me progress my career into site management."

“It’s also great that you’re not tied to term times, like some other apprenticeships, which means I will have my qualification in just 18 months!"
