BEYOND '25 LIVE

The UK’s house-building industry will come together next year to address its biggest challenges at NHBC’s BEYOND ’26 LIVE, taking place on 25 February 2026 at the CBS Arena, Coventry.

With the Government’s target of building 1.5 million new homes this Parliament, the event will focus on the urgent issues shaping the sector, including climate change, quality and skills.

Hosted by broadcaster and journalist Louise Minchin, best known for her 20 years on BBC Breakfast, the conference will bring together over 1,200 professionals and more than 40 expert speakers, offering practical guidance and insight for everyone from CEOs and technical directors to site managers, subcontractors and apprentices. Attendees will gain fresh ideas, practical guidance and new insights from leading voices in house building.

The event will explore some of the most pressing issues facing house builders today, including:

  • The housing market and growth – exploring what’s needed to stimulate delivery.
  • Climate change and net zero – sessions on sustainable construction and preparing for the UK’s 2050 net-zero target.
  • Future Homes Standard – Lessons learned and future progress.

Showcasing best practice and innovation

Highlights will include:

  • A focus on modern timber frame construction, with expert guidance and a live demonstration.
  • A Pride in the Job panel, sharing insights from the competition and what it takes to be a winning for site manager.
  • A roofing quality stage, covering critical external elements, common faults and how to reduce costly rework and claims.

Collaboration and innovation at the heart

David Campbell, Chief Operating Officer, NHBC, said: “The challenges facing the house-building industry are significant, but they also present a tremendous opportunity to innovate and lead. BEYOND ’26 LIVE will give the sector the platform, tools and connections it needs to deliver high-quality, sustainable homes. Collaboration and innovation will be key to success.”

Valuable learning and networking

The event also offers Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and has been praised for sparking meaningful discussion and connections.

Jamie Bursnell, Bellway Homes, described it as “unmissable for anyone in the house-building sector,” while Garry Staines, GSQ Brickwork, said the event is “incredibly valuable for SMEs” looking to stay ahead.

With Government housing targets under pressure, BEYOND ’26 LIVE promises to provide the tools, knowledge and inspiration house builders need to overcome barriers and seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving market.
