My name is Alicia and I am a ersonal Claims Consultant.
As a Personal Claims Consultant at NHBC, my day revolves around effectively managing my caseload, ensuring I stay on top of my CMA tasks and close queues.
I regularly engage with homeowners, managing agents and builders, as well as liaising with external companies assisting in claims investigations.
My focus is on progressing claims efficiently, providing clear communication and delivering excellent customer services to all parties involved.
To be successful in this role, strong project management skills are essential for keeping track of repairs and investigations.
Being personable, empathetic and resilient also makes a big difference as some claims can take years to resolve.
Building a good rapport with homeowners, builders and other parties involved helps create smooth communication and ensures a positive experience for everyone.

This role can be challenging as it involves a lot of public facing communication and at times homeowners may express their frustration to you. However, the satisfaction of helping someone and making real progress on the claim makes it all worthwhile.
