NHBC responds to Dame Judith Hackitt's review into building regulations and fire safety

Commenting on the publication of Dame Judith Hackitt’s review into building regulations and fire safety, NHBC Chief Executive Steve Wood said: “NHBC welcomes the publication of Dame Judith Hackitt’s independent review into building regulations and fire safety following the tragic events of the Grenfell Tower fire. 

“In our role as the largest private provider of building control services in England and Wales, NHBC has made an active contribution to the work of the review, providing detailed recommendations and participating in the review’s working groups. 

 “We now look forward to considering the full detail of Dame Judith Hackitt’s report and the Government’s response.  We will continue to positively engage with policy makers and the industry to help shape the way forward.”
