NHBC honours its STARs

NHBC welcomed its brightest talent to recognise and celebrate their achievements at our annual NHBC STARs Awards event.

Over the past eighteen months, people across the UK have faced personal and professional hardship as the Covid-19 pandemic took its toll on our lives as we knew them, and none of our colleagues were immune to this.

Despite this they have prevailed, showing dedication, professionalism, and resilience. That’s why this year’s NHBC STARs Awards were even harder to judge, and the ceremony – one of the first major in-person NHBC events to take place this year – was even more memorable.

The award ceremony took place at Jurys Inn Hotel in Milton Keynes.

The overall Employees of the Year were Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer Jonathan Cundall and Specialist Claims Consultant Gemma Perry.

Steve Wood, CEO, said:

“To be nominated for an NHBC STARs award is an accomplishment in itself, and it really was a tough job for the judges to decide on our finalists and winners. This year’s NHBC STARs have achieved something very special, as evidenced by the fact we couldn’t choose just one Employee of the Year!

I am sure you’ll be eager to join me in congratulating all of this year’s NHBC STARs – well done everyone and in particular to Jonathan and Gemma, our Employees of the Year.”
