We pride ourselves on the expertise of our people and offer learning and development opportunities throughout our colleagues’ careers with us.
Your onboarding and induction experience begins as soon as you sign your contract, with access to our learning and development platform so you can learn more about the business, its policies and our people before joining. When you start, you’ll have a thorough induction tailored to your role and business area.
From there, we encourage all colleagues to work with their line manager to agree a personal development plan each year – whether they are new to the business or an aspiring future leader. In addition to compulsory regulatory training, you will have access to a wide range of resources to help develop your technical, professional and personal skills. Our qualified Mind Gym coaches deliver topics that are relevant to both your development and business activity, in bite-size, interactive sessions.
When you join NHBC you will have both a team and a corporate virtual induction within a month of you joining.
