NHBC strengthens senior commercial team with two key appointments

NHBC, the leading warranty and insurance provider for new homes in the UK, has appointed Tim Reid to the newly created role of Customer Relationship Director, whilst also promoting Paul Edwards to Senior Regional Director.

Tim Reid will be joining NHBC on 1st December from Four Communications, where he is currently Managing Director – Group Client Services a role encompassing business development activities with a focus on property, construction and regeneration. Tim will focus on leading NHBC’s business development activities in both new and existing marketplaces, whilst providing a principal contact for main board directors of NHBC’s builder customers. Paul, meanwhile, has assumed management of the organisation’s team of Regional Directors, who lead customer relations with NHBC’s clients at regional level across the UK.  Paul has more than 18 years’ experience at NHBC, most recently as Regional Director for the West and Wales region.

Commenting on the appointments, NHBC Commercial Director, David Campbell said: “I am delighted to be strengthening the senior commercial team with these key appointments.

“Tim is an excellent addition, bringing a wealth of experience from the property, construction, and regeneration sectors, having previously held senior roles at Good Relations, TTA Group and London and Quadrant Group (Tower Homes Ltd).

“Paul has demonstrated, very clearly, the capabilities and leadership to embrace the Senior Regional Director role that he has recently held on an interim basis. Along with a significant depth of technical expertise, Paul has a broad experience of all aspects of NHBC and will be a tremendous asset to the senior team.
